The main reason I tried the Omuu food was for my Dog Cassie. Cass has an old hip injury & she needs to lose weight too 🙂
She loved the food at the start & quickly got used to it, now she lost some weight & looking at her people have remarked on this. As for the scales, well that tells differently but she has dropped over one stone which is great. She’s been going on short walks since Christmas. I’m happy how she’s doing.

I’m so glad I came across Omuu (thanks, Snout and About!) because our border collie absolutely loves it (like, REALLY loves it!) I’ve never seen her take to or enjoy other kibble as much, so much so that we portion some of it out to include in our training treats because, as far as she’s concerned, it’s worth working for.
I did a double-take at first when I saw the cost, but then I sat down and worked out the cost per day and, compared to her soon-to-be-former Burns kibble, it’s actually only slightly higher. What we get in return for that marginal extra spend is a much happier dog who enjoys her food more, poops better and farts less (yes, the wins just keep coming! ????), so it’s more than worth it.
What we really didn’t expect was such a noticeable improvement in her skin. Her coat has always been glossy, but she used to scratch an awful lot. I used to obsessively check her for fleas because she used to scratch so much, despite being regularly treated, but there was never any evidence on her, her bedding or anywhere else. It’s only now that she’s switched over fully that we see a noticeable absence of scratching, and less visible dander when we groom her.
We’ve only positive things to say about how our dog has taken to Omuu, and so pleased to be able to support an Irish business with a sustainable product and environmentally ethical business practices.

I have a Border Collie, Oakie, who suffers from skin allergies. His skin was itchy, he suffered from ear infections and had lost alot of hair. He looked uncomfortable and stressed. I wanted to address the root cause(s) of his skin condition so I looked at changing his diet. Omuu was recommended to me by another pet parent. I contacted Omuu and Dr Frank gave me very helpful advice and
answered my questions.
Oakie has been on Omuu six weeks now. He loves it. He is in great form!! now and has lots! of energy. His skin rash is gone, skin sores and ears have healed. His hair has grown back.
I am very happy to be feeding him a good quality dog food with healthy ingredients. As Omuu contains Omega fats I don’t need to give him an oil supplement. It also contains ingredients to balance gut bacteria so I don’t need to give him a probiotic. I also like Omuu’s intentions
to protect and look after the health of the plant and animal kingdom ????
